Becca's Friend and Pointer
March 22
Friend is a bigger girl with a fleecy type coat that will likely not shed as an adult. She is outgoing and friendly, has moderate energy, and rates high in goofiness. My guess weight for her is 70-75 lbs. -- CHOSEN
Pointer (AKA Pointy Hat) is a goofy, higher energy boy. He too has a coat that will likely not shed. This guy is keen and will be easy to train. Agility anyone? My guess weight for him is 65-70 lbs. -- CHOSEN
Becca's and Brixx' pups at 5 weeks
February 26
Becca's and Brixx pups are a darker apricot and in general I believe they'll likely remain a darker apricot. They may fade after they're 2 years old since Becca is a golden colour and Brixx was red until he turned 2. Then he became a solid apricot colour.
My guess for weight ranges for this litter is 45-65 lbs. These pups will be 8 weeks on March 19th and they'll be ready to go to their new homes then.

Wrapping Paper learns to hold on to the bottle!
I wish I could capture more moments of these wonderful little pups as they're growing. Yankee's and Becca's litter have their eyes wide open and are starting to walk on all fours. I thought I would share a few photos of the litters for your viewing pleasure.
Becca's and Brixx's 10 pups were born on January 22nd, 2010
January 24
Becca laboured all day Thursday and waited until the wee hours of Friday to have her darling litter of 10. With the abundance of pups that were too hard for Yankee to manage on her own, Becca complied without hesitation to accept 2 more to add to her litter.
These pups were born on my daughter, Sara's, 11th birthday so she got to choose the theme. She chose a "Birthday Party" Theme. The 5 girls are named Candle, Friend, Gift, Celebrate and Birthday. The boys are Streamer, Cake, Balloon, Wrapping Paper and Pointy Hat :-)
Becca's pups will likely range from 45-65 lbs in weight, (although this is our first litter from Brixx; we'll learn as we go). They have a deep, almost red coat now, but they'll likely have solid dark, to medium apricot colours as they get older. Brixx was a deep red until he was 2 years old and now he is a stunning solid apricot.
