Lucky is a playful boy. He's the first to come running when you call "Puppies!" A fun puppy who loves to be with people, and gets along well with other dogs too, he is energetic and keen.
His weight gain has slowed down since he has been weaned and I believe he will only get to the 35-40 lb mark. He too has a flatter coat that will likely shed moderately but he will not need a lot of trips to the groomers.
He is $1475 (there is no GST charged on this litter as they are our children's project). Sugar is now retired as she has given us 4 fabulous litters.

Tickled is waiting for his new home -- ADOPTED!!

Tickled is a stout handsome boy with a calm and clever mind and is such a sweetheart. He's a thinker, but loves his walks and enjoys the snow. This guy has the makings of a service or therapy dog.
I still think he'll grow to be about 50-55 lbs or so. With more of the labradoodle look to him, he'll likely be a mild to moderate shedder but will have a low maintenance coat.

Sugar's Lucky loves to be with people -- ADOPTEDs

Lucky is Mr. Social. He loves to be with people and is very friendly and playful. He will have a flatter, shedding-type coat.
My guess weight for him is 45-50 lbs. It's hard to judge the adult weight of Sugar's pups as she has very rich milk and her pups gain weight quickly. Then their growth slows down once they're weaned.

Tickled is quite a character. He's very smart and this last weekend his favourite game to play was untie your shoe. I wonder if he has a goal to be able to tie both shoes together? He's a very smart, active boy. Tickled will like a home that wants to challenge him with difficult tricks. And I'm sure he will enjoy the challenge.
I can see him being a good hunting or agility dog. He may also be a good walking/running partner. His coat will also remain more flat and will likely shed moderately. My guess weight for him is 45-55 lbs. Tickled plays well with others and also on his own.

Sugar's pups at 4 weeks
Sugar and Horton have another fine crew of puppies. They're as cute as buttons and such nice characters. There's quite a range in sizes and their coats are just nicely developing.
Sugar has very rich milk so her pups grow so fast. Last year's pups started to slow their growth rate down once they left mama's rich milk 🙂
I expect these pups will weigh from 30-60 lbs. Their coats will range from wavy to curly. These pups will start being chosen at the end of this month and can go home October 13th.

Sugar's and Horton's pups born on August 18th
Sweet Sugar and Handsome Horton are happy to announce their litter of 10 beautiful apricot and cream puppies born on August 18th. We were so tickled with their litter last year that we thought an encore was in order. We expect these pups will range from 30-70 lbs... as Horton always gives us a jolly good variety of sizes in his litters. There are 6 boys and 4 girls in this litter of North American Retriever Doodles, (Lab/Golden X with poodle).
The theme for this litter is "Happy" terms. The boys are named: Frolic, Glee, Lucky, Perky, Jolly and Tickled. The girls are: Bliss, Joy, Cheer and Sunshine.
This happy litter will be ready to go to their new homes October 13th. We're still accepting deposits on this litter.
