Mango's and Abe's F1B goldendoodle litter at 4 weeks

Four weeks have flown by with this delightful litter. I'm so enjoying all these characters and it's fun to have a variety of coat colours and markings. The pups are venturing out of the whelping box and enjoying their mush.

We're continuing to socialize and expose the pups to new items and experiences. Their vet appointment is on February 11 and choosing will happen after that. They can start going home on February 18.

All of these pups are spoken for. My wait list is still closed for deposits, but I'm still accepting adoption forms from adoptive families. I'll call these folks first before telling the public when my waitlist is open again.

December 27

Mango and Abe had 13 F1B medium/large goldendoodle pups on December 24!

Shortly after realizing that I had written down the wrong due date Mango started to labour right on time, having her pups in the late hours of the 23rd and the early hours of the 24th.

Mango is an amazing mama, but as she got tired during labour she needed some coaching to look after the newborns as they entered this world. So I stayed with her for the whole process and was able to write down markings and weigh the pups as they were born. Many mamas are more comfortable being left alone to labour, but Mango is happy for all the company.

Because the pups have a good variety of markings and weights I was able to identify who was who. I ribboned and named them in their birth order for the 12 Days of Christmas, with number 13 being Eve.

There are 8 boys and 5 girls. Their names are:

  1. Partridge,
  2. Turtle Dove,
  3. French Hen aka "Henny",
  4. Birdy,
  5. Ringer,
  6. Goose,
  7. Swanny,
  8. Maiden,
  9. Dancer,
  10. Leaper,
  11. Piper,
  12. Drummer, and then, of course,
  13. Christmas "Eve".

Their vet appointment is on February 11 and choosing will start the same day. They can start going home on February 18.

All of these pups are spoken for.
