Ginger's 4 week old pups

Ginger's and Horton's pups are growing like crazy! Ginger is such an attentive mama with obviously rich milk. The boys are huge. I'm expecting both of them to outgrow their parents and take after their grandma's genes.

These pups are all spoken for and will be ready to go home December 17th.

Ginger's and Horton's pups arrive early on October 22

Ginger laboured during the day on Monday and we were very happy to see how easily she took on her new role as mama as she presented her pups to us all dry and content on Tuesday morning. She birthed a family of 4, 2 boys and 2 girls. They're actually quite large in size, and continue to grow like crazy!

The theme for this litter is from a 70's sit com, "Laverne and Shirley." The girls are named, of course, Laverne and Shirley. The boys are Lenny and Squiggy.

These pups will be ready to go home December 17th. Since this is just before Christmas, I'm willing to hold the pups until after the Christmas festivities have settled. I do not believe surprise gifting a dog is ever a good idea.

I still require that both books; " The Art of Raising a Puppy," by the Monks of New Skete, and Cesar Millan's " How to Raise the Perfect Dog: Through Puppyhood and Beyond" are read by the adults and older children in a household before I'll let a family pick up their pup. It is of utmost importance that the family is all on board with a consistent game plan for their new family member. It doesn't take you much reading in these books to help you understand why this is my policy.

I have room for one more deposit for this litter. Contact me if you're interested in a pup from this litter, or in any future litters.
