Goldie was labouring all day Saturday and ended up whelping throughout the early morning hours into the later morning on Sunday. All a part of being a breeder is supporting your mamas through their labour and delivery through all hours of the day.
Posie went into labour and had her pups on her due date! It was a very eventful day, with clients coming to select their pup from another litter. Four hours after her water broke, she had her first pup, just as the last clients were choosing!
Munchkin had her pups the evening of May 10, and she is an incredible mama.
I am excited to see how this litter will turn out with our stellar Clark being the sire.
After an eventful pre-labor episode, likely triggered by the sudden change in weather, Sage slept for the next two days and delivered her pups on her due date. She is adjusting to her new role as a mama very well.
Cagney, like Bixley, was also a quiet labourer. No panting or pacing. She looked a little uncomfortable at times, but that was it. I had checked her in the night and between checks she had them on her own!
On a frigid morning of February 10th, I observed an amazing miracle of a first-time mom, knowing precisely what to do, and doing it very well. Bixley was a very quiet labourer. There was no pacing or panting.
