Upcoming Goldendoodle Litters

Upcoming litters in Alberta

We can't always predict accurately when a litter is due. Dogs' cycles are not always like clock work, so these dates are assuming that they will continue to cycle 6 months from their last cycle.

From Conception to Adoption: Understanding Our Upcoming Goldendoodle Litter Timeline

Gestation is normally 9 weeks and we keep the pups here 8 weeks before we release them to their new homes. That makes a little over 4 months from conception to going home. We take 5 deposits only per litter before they're born since litters can vary so much in size.

We think out pairings carefully. They're determined by complementing characteristics and the timing of the girls' cycles, amongst many other varying factors. Planned pairings are subject to change.

How Long Will You Wait for Your Goldendoodle Puppy?

Most families receive a puppy within 6 months, but it can sometimes be much sooner or take a little longer. Learn about our Choosing Process in the FAQ to understand how adoptions work.

So come join the party of my followers and prepare with the required reading while you wait!!

If you want to be on the waitlist, please read through my website and submit your application.

A Response to Changing Times for Our Upcoming Goldendoodle Litters in Alberta

I choose to breed when I have deposits with committed demand for a certain size in F1 or F1B qualities. Although sometimes litters can be larger, and I would have more than I have deposits for, you can still hop further down the waitlist once pups arrive.

See how our adoption process works on FAQ.

Once you know you want a Hearty K9, and know the approximate timeline that works for you, please submit your application and I'll breed accordingly.

    Planned and potential upcoming litters

We make the adoption process simple and enjoyable, helping you prepare for the exciting day you bring home your new Goldendoodle puppy. Here's a quick overview of how it works:

The Adoption Process at Hearty K9s

    1. Start Early: Many families place deposits up to a year in advance, so we recommend starting the process as soon as you've decided to adopt from Hearty K9s.
    2. Complete the Adoption Form: Submit the fully completed form to get started. (button)
    3. Approval & Deposit: Once your application is approved, pay the deposit to secure your spot on the waiting list. Previous applicants receive first choice of puppies.
    4. Prepare by Reading: Read the recommended books to help you prepare for life with your new puppy.
    5. Puppy Selection: When the litter is 6–7 weeks old, we’ll contact you to schedule an appointment to meet and choose your puppy. If scheduling isn’t possible, selection can be done via email, photos, and phone calls.
    6. Review Preferences: Before your appointment, review your submitted preferences and bring any updates or questions with you.
    7. Payment: The remaining balance can be paid via e-transfer, cheque, or cash. Payment ahead of the pick-up day is preferred to simplify the process.
    8. Pick-Up Scheduling: If you’re not taking your puppy home immediately, bring your calendar to schedule the pick-up date and time.
    9. Take-Home Day: On the big day, you’ll choose your puppy, receive important care details (like food recommendations), and bring home your new companion.
